Me Mamiya

When i was young, haha, just starting out taking photos, i always found it helpful to see what cameras and equipment real photographers were using, so this is basically me trying to help others, so every now and then ill post up one of the cameras i use and talk about it alittle and show you what it can do.

Firsts up we have my favorite camera, the Mamiya RB67, i have been using these cameras for acouple of years now and they are always fun. it is a medium format camera so it uses 120mm film and can also shoot on peal apart Polaroid film.
Being a completely manual camera i get allot of satisfaction when a photo actually works, which doesn’t happen as much as i would like.
This tennis net hop by jack birtles came from the second role of film i ran through my first RB67, it was shot at the fine hotel we were staying at on one of our earlier sunny coast trips. There is also a Video of the trip.
Macca is Amazing, this came from a shoot i did for Tempered bikes awhile back for BMX Life magazine.
Again we have a photo of keelan, this is one of the polaroids that the RB67 uses with the mask still on.

Mr fitz on one of his only trips to rampattck, again this is a polaroid but with the mask off.
Being an old camera they can break, this cameras shutter broke so that it couldn't b reset, causing the lens to be locked to the body, so i went at it with a hammer until it let go.
Just an attempt at a 3D camera, never got around to testing it, but it looks cool
